The new iPod!

Posted by Alex Duggan, 04 January 2006 - - - - - - · 25 views

What an amazing bit of kit the latest generation iPod is!

I've had a 3G iPod for a couple of years now and it was coming towards the end of it's useful life (was scratched all over, was having problems updating songs and battery life was starting to go down!) - so was time for a new one! My parents bought me a new 30GB iPod with video...

Christmas Shopping

Posted by Alex Duggan, 05 December 2005 - - - - - - · 30 views

So it's my day off and decided to go into town and do a bit of Christmas shopping. It's monday morning, so thought it can't be that that busy. Boy was I wrong!

I'm not talking about rare, one of a kind items - just bog standard things that you don't want/need anymore.

Have recently sold alot of used computing and network stuff on that's un-needed now I've upgraded it etc. - and in at least two...

The most annoying computer accessory ever?

Posted by Alex Duggan, 15 November 2005 - - - - - - · 29 views

I think I may have just managed to buy the most annoying accessory ever created for a computer.

After I switched from ADSL to Cable internet access, this meant getting a new wireless router to be able to share it around the house, have always used netgear routers in the past so I thought i'd stick with that and get a cable version of one of theirs....

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Posted by Alex Duggan, 17 October 2005 - - - - - - · 28 views

Has someone moved christmas this year and forgot to tell me?

Have sort of got used to shops having an aisle or two with a few christmas products in from the the end of september, every restaurant you go into has christmas menus on the table for you to look at, a pub on the outskirts of Exeter I was in a couple of weeks ago even has a christmas tree up...
