Has someone moved christmas this year and forgot to tell me?
Have sort of got used to shops having an aisle or two with a few christmas products in from the the end of september, every restaurant you go into has christmas menus on the table for you to look at, a pub on the outskirts of Exeter I was in a couple of weeks ago even has a christmas tree up already. All of this have sort of come to expect.
However I feel it's just gone one step further and sillier than ever before - I was in town yesterday, after dodging past all the people putting up the christmas lights in Exeter city center, I walked into Woolworths - they only had bloody christmas music playing over their PA system, in October. Mariah Carey's 'All I want for christmas is you' being blasted into the ears of all the shoppers in there. In October. Bloody october.
So, Merry Christmas everyone!
