Here's a useful tip - never drop your laptop onto a wooden floor from quite a height getlost.gif

It just about charges as long as you hold the power adaptor in with quite a bit of force - that'd get a bit tedious after a while!

Must be more careful in future!

Yeah, something like that happened to me couple of times - the different thing is that I didn't drop my laptop at all, it just happened. If you want it to charge without breaking your fingers you should change the motherboard -- let's hope your laptop is still under guarantee, 'cause it'll cost you big to buy a new motherboard. That's why my laptop is currently un*everything, the only thing I can use it for is a coffee table... and I don't drink coffee.
Hey thats a good excuse to get a new laptop.
Just never drop your laptop at all.
My laptop fell off my bed last night. Luckily it didn't make a scratch.

This is the last time I fall asleep with my laptop on my legs,

£199.75 later and I now have it back and dent free!

Will certainly be more careful in future pinch.gif
from the picture it looks like the modem port is messed up a little, the new MacBook Pro has a nifty magnetic power cord so it will just POP! out lol.
