IP.Chat beta testing now open

Posted by Charles, 02 December 2009 · 515 views

The beta testing for the new IP.Chat service is now open to all active IP.Board and IPS Community Hosting customers. For full information please read the topic in the IP.Chat forum.

Thanks! Installed and works fine! :)

Link. ;)
Not for me. :/

IP.Chat doesnt show up under "Chat" in My Apps. Only AddonChat and ParaChat.

Edit: NM, I moved servers this morning and I uploaded the files to the old one.

Working fine.
Did you skip the big red important notice in the topic?
Nice one, installed on one board. Will add it to another when upgraded to v3
I think I found a bug. When the Chat module is enabled I can't change any member. When I hit Save I get a DB error.

Ticket #620828
1) You should not submit tickets for chat. It is a beta product and is unsupported at this time.

2) I suspect you are missing the column in the members table that flags if a member is banned in chat. If you ran the installer, as you should have, try using the database checker under the Support tab in the ACP.
dont work for me [#CSTART-0] There was an error connecting with the chat room. Please notify an administrator.
Love it. :)
for me ! You have been kicked from the chat room
The link to the lounge is dead:
[#10342] We could not determine which forum this topic is in.
You need to be in the customer group Jesper - if you have an active license, make sure the email address you use for your forum account and client area account match up, then log out here and log back in. If that doesn't help, submit a ticket to the Accounts department and they can get you set up.
Leaving the enable and disable hours gets me this [#CJOIN-0] There was an error connecting with the chat room. Please notify an administrator.
If I input hours (or try) it says the chat is offline. D:

This application cannot be installed. Is it in the correct directory? You cannot install third party applications into the IPS directory or vice-versa.

I kept the file structure intact and followed the install guide lines to the tee! No joy here

Thanks for the beta IPB!

Was working good then I had to restart mysql (not related to chat) and now it say "Please wait while we load the chatroom". Going to re-install.
