Just curious how to do a poll in a blog. It is just a linked forum entry? If you know, please reply.
When you create a new entry, there should be options to create a poll for it...

From the IP.Blog section of components, in the groups menu, select to edit the appropriate group and set the 'Allow member to add Polls in entries?' setting to yes, then save the settings.
Repeat for each group that you want to be able to make a subscription.
