So I was online last night when Tom started sending me messages on MSN. He informed me that his processor fan was broken and therefore he needed a new computer, but wasn't sure whether to get a Mac or PC.
I first asked about his gaming. He said he didn't game.
I then continued with "Have you ever actually used a Mac"
The answer was a no. I then made the completely logical point that if you've never used a Mac then getting one is stupid, because you don't know if you'll like it or not. It's like buying a car without having taken it for a testdrive, or buying a house without having a look at the inside. You may buy the Mac and discover you hate it. In which case £340 (minimum) has just gone down the drain. Tom then stated that a certain Mr. Matt Marshall told him to get a Mac.
Mr. Marshall AIMed me at this point and stated he brought a Mac without having used one before. I weighed up the evidence and came to the inevitable conclusive that Mr. Marshall is a moron.
People, for the love of God don't ever listen to what fanboys say, actually try things before you buy them. As I said earlier the reasons are perfectly obvious and logical.
