I'm addicted. Is it drugs? Is it booze? Gambling? A new flavour of wine gum? A new television program centring on the hilarity that can be held from beating the crap out of Americans?
None of these. I am addicted to UCAS Track.
What is UCAS Track? UCAS Track is a service for tracking University admissions online. I usually find UCAS Track tells me what the response of my application is 3 or 4 days before I receive a letter.
University is a precious time in a young mans life. The responses of these Unis hold the key to my future. As a quick demonstration here is what UCAS Track looks like.

Here you can see I am still awaiting responses from Plymouth and Kent. It just so happens that Kent is my first choice, I would also quite like to go to Plymouth, because Stephen goes to Plymouth and if I go to Plymouth I can hunt him down like a dog. When I do it is highly likely that he will cry, creating a situation of hilarity and amusement for all involved. Well except Stephen, little cry baby biatch.
Anyways, I have now reached a point of checking UCAS Track constantly, I am checking it right now, repeatedly. This despite the fact that I know that both Universitys and UCAS close their offices on Sundays. I realise the high amount of illogic in this, but like any good addiction, every now and again it needs a good scratch. Hence my fascination with masturbation.
There is a high chance this will kill me. Blood pressure is building up, and there is a throbbing vein in my forehead. The Universities do not actually have to finalise their response until April. Do you have any idea what will happen if I'm still waiting for these two responses in March? Small children everywhere will be in mortal danger!
And yet they continue to tease me, with their scantily laid out webpages and the website propaganda. "Come to our Uni! Its fab!" STOP IT! STOP IT! I CAN'T TAKE ANYMORE!
But it never stops. Never does the pounding stop, never does the teasing end, for they hold power over you. Power until they finally have you in their grasp. THEN YOU'RE THEIRS!
So that's what I've been up to. How's everyone else?
