Since 1989 Green Day have been rocking away. Their new album 'American Idiot' is a tour de force. Since time began Green Day has had three members.

Mike Dirnt, Billie Joe Armstrong and Tre Cool. Left to right. Lovely. Now the other day I was watching the new Green Day video to 'Wake me up when September Ends' and I noticed something:

Now there you can see Billie Joe at the front playing the guitar. Then at the back there's Tre Cool playing the drums. Then in between them on the right there's Mike Dirnt. So wait, WHO THE ###### IS THE OTHER GUY?!
This guy apparently has spouted out of nowhere to rock out in 'Wake me up when September Ends'. No one in the video seems to notice this guy. Where has he come from?
The logical explanation is that Green Day (like many bands) required an extra guitarest for this particular song, so they just had someone play an extra guitar. For example my favourite band the Mars Volta get Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers to play guitar on some of their songs because they don't have enough guitarests.
However the Mars Volta don't reflect this in their videos. Neither do countless other bands. So why do Green Day?!
The only explanation is that this is all part of some kind of evil plot into sticking another member of Green Day in. There is notably no close ups of this guy in the video. They are trying to be covert about it. He is just in the background playing his guitar like he's always been there! The cheek!
See, it's pretty obvious what's going to happen. The next time Green Day releases a video, you'll get him again, but then you'll get a close up. Then you'll get more in successive videos. Eventually as he becomes instituted people will notice and ask questions like 'Who the hell is that guy?' and 'Chris, will you give me my underpants back?'. Green Day will reply that he's always been there, in a clever plot to make it seem like its the public that is at fault.
These tactics have been used before, in SOVIET RUSSIA. Except in reverse. After Lenin died there was a sort of power tussle. Stalin on one side, Trotsky on the other. Stalin was in charge, but Trotsky was troublesome. Stalin needed to institute himself as Lenin's former best mate and Trotsky as nothing. As time went on he doctored countless photos. Trotsky would move further away from Lenin, whereas Stalin would move closer. Eventually Trotsky ended up disappearing completely whereas Stalin would end up standing next to Lenin. Trotsky would later become a figure of hate in the USSR, and Stalin, always a pleasant fellow, had him exiled and then killed by having a guy shove an ice pick through the guys skull while he was in Mexico.
Green Day is doing similar. Except without all the evil. Well, not so MUCH evil at least. Except in reverse. Instead of getting rid of a guy, they're bringing one in. Soon you'll find that listings have this mysterious fellow as being in all Green Day's albums and songs. He'll appear on Green Days official site, he'll be rocking in all the concerts, and when Green Day's asked he'll of always been there!
It is difficult to see what purpose this has. Unless of course the guy himself is behind all this! This fella, most likely, wishes to be a member of Green Day more than anything else in the world. So he's blackmailing Green Day in complying with his evil. Truly an evil genius.
It's amazing how much you can extrapolate from a 5 minute music video.
