The IPB3.1 Videos System has been updated to v2.1. Although primarily a bug fixing upgrade, this version also adds several new features and a few dozen bug fixes. You can view the latest version in the IPS Marketplace here: http://community.inv...-videos-system/ and a full list of the bug fixes here.

Notable Changes:

Introduction of a new 'portal' layout for the main page.
Option for manual uploading of thumbnail images.
Facebook like and share links features added to the video page.
Sitemap file upgraded to support the latest IP.SEO version.
Multi-moderation ability added to the category page with the addition of a move video option.
Basic IP.Content support added in the form of a custom block to allow the sidebar block to be added into IP.Content.
Option to change thumbnail dimensions.
Support for YouTube's new youtu.be short url format.

Yes upgrade available from previous version, you'll find the upgrade instructions in the download zip. As this is sold on a subscription basis like IPB, if you have an active subscription, any upgrades are free.

If purchased on my site, you'll find the latest version in the client centre. If purchased through the IPS Marketplace, view the item listing to download the latest version.

Nice, Michael, thank you very much indeed! Love the new portal look! Thanks for the IP.Content plug-in :thumbsup:

The global video hook that shows on the main forum index would benefit from a scroll bar like the current Gallery hook to show lots more videos, on a 1920x1080 display you get a blank space to the right of the thumbnails if you have it set to 5 which looks okay on 1280x1024 but not beyond.

Also the option to show random videos in the hook would be good, even it picked random ones every hour to save resources.
