I've had a brilliant week - I went to see Coldplay, live, twice 
Ages ago I bought tickets for Wednesday at Earls Court (London) when they went on sale. When we got there it turned out our seats were rubbish. We were right at the back, and in a venue so huge we really couldn't even make out the people on the stage. Music was good, but not being able to see anything happen kinda spoiled it, especially since Chris Martin is so active on stage.
So I went again.
I got on eBay and managed to get 2 tickets for the 3rd block from the front for a pretty reasonable price (twice as expensive as face value which isn't bad - a couple of weeks ago they were going for £250+ a ticket). It was absolutely brilliant, I'm so glad I decided to pay for a second time. It's going to be a while until they're playing in London again but I already have my money ready to go again!
In the penultimate song (In My Place), Chris Martin jumps off the stage and runs to the back of Earls Court and starts singing amongst the crowd. Since we saw it happen Wednesday, I was waiting for it on Friday - he ran about 3 feet in front of us! I managed to get a bit of video although he has his head down, so you'll have to frame through it
The photos I've got don't really show how close we were. We could see their faces, put it that way, and in a venue that size that's a pretty good seat. It was brilliant!
