Over the past month I've completed two more figures: a hobbit, and a Barrow Wight*. I'm really pleased with this - my painting is improving with every figure I do which is encouraging. These are 1" scale models - the hobbit is 1", the Barrow Wight is 1.5". Let me know what you think
Hobbit

Barrow Wight*

*Barrow Wights didn't feature in the LOTR movies, but they're in the books. They are undead warriors that paralyse Frodo & co in Fellowship of the Ring

I think you're doing a great job on these, especially as they're so small. I used to hand paint ceramic pieces and know how difficult it can be.

Rikki,
You are producing some really nice work with these - very good pictures as well!
I used to paint Warhammer figures (with my son) up until about 4 years ago but unfortunatly I had to resort to using a magnifying glass/lamp and it just got to be too much of a pain in the **** after half an hour or so!
Keep up the excellent work.
How about a few pictures in Gallery (all in one place) so we can visit from time to time???

They look awesome!
Seriously, I know how hard they are to paint. I used to do 'em for an hobby and give them to my youngest cousin, who loves to collect fiqures which have been hand painted. Your's look very deatiled, the grass on the first one looks professionally done, least to my eyes.

P.s Share more, when you have some more to show of course.

I haven't done any for a while now, but coincidently I got them out again last night with a view to doing some more, so there may be something to show soon
I'll have to keep an eye.
Last weekend I brought my son some dino/cast + paintset... Wasn't the best, although he likes 'em and I wasn't aware how hard it to find them in stores these days. Oh well, I should help him paint them.
