Create a custom theme

Well I have found myself back in the IPB community. I used to have a license but didn't like 2.0 so I sold it, so I'm back for 3.0 and love the changes, even looked at the templates, I'm going to enjoy releasing addons.
First project on my list is:
Codium's Follow Member
This project will entail being able to follow and unfollow members, at the same time if a member that is being followed adds a new blog, image or even is chatting, the person doing the following will be notified. Of course the to be followed will be able to confirm or reject the follow request. It will save stalking issues.
Next project is porting my xPortal to IPB, not sure the title, I was thinking mPortal or something like that.
Any suggestions can be posted on this blog. I will take requests for the next week.
Ok so what am I going to do about XenForo, I'm considering getting away from it once I finish xShop as its a pain to code anything, their structure and how they use Zend is well retarded. It should not require 5 files to make 1 file display properly. So with that IPB is my choice, I hate vB now and I already have a UBB but they need a complete overhaul before I start coding heavily. I'll end up selling at least one of my XF licenses.
Now with all that said, I was thinking of adding a project to my list which would mix C++ with IPB. Not sure if feasible or waste of time but I'm learning C++ and sounded like a good project.
Ok I'm done now, leave comments, questions, or suggestions.
