I have not been blogging for a while now, so I figured it was about time. I have been really busy the last couple of weeks.
As for ICB 1.2. I am quite happy with the release. No major flaws where found and the bugs that did come up can be classified as minor. This doesn't mean I won't be doing anything about that. In the next couple of weeks we will see a 1.2.1 release.
There will be one big change in 1.2.1 however, and that will be the change of all Blog URL's that contain cmd= to something else. It appears that mod_security is blocking the current URL's. It's a change that has to be done at some point, so 1.2.1 will have to be that point.
On the MSSQL front, we have had a couple of (minor) issues that have all been fixed. 2.1 really is a step forward for the database drivers. The new abstraction functions make live a lot easier.
Other then that I will be working on the Oracle driver to make it 2.1 compatible.
Last but not least I have compiled a list of the new features of version 1.2 of the Blog. Other stuff kept popping up, so it's a bit later then expected. Here goes:
