Christmas has passed. I must say that I enjoyed myself very much. Christmas with kids is allways good fun. It gives you a warm feeling when your son says that he wishes it was always christmas. That tells me he enjoyed it as well. Today I went with my wife and kids to the cinemas. It was the first time for my daughter. You can see she is impressed with the big screen and sound. She loved it however and so did my son. For me it the movie was ok, but my kids enjoying it is what is most important.
During Christmas I took the big task of making diner. I have been doing a lot of cooking during the weekends lately. I ma really starting to enjoy it. Christmas diner was no exeption. I made three courses:
- risotto cookies with citrus mayonaise.
- wild bouillon.
- filled porkbeef with hari coufert rolled in bacon and stewed peer.
(disclaimer: I don't know the correct English translation for the above, so forgive me if I made mistakes with translating)
Our guests enjoyed it very much and I must say so did I. So it must have been alright
(and yes I also answered some tickets during Christmas, I can't help myself)
