Mobile Skin Now Online

The new mobile skin for IP.Board 3.1 is now available for viewing right here on our community! Just visit on a popular mobile device and the skin will load automatically.

Separate Skin

The mobile skin shows as a separate skin in your AdminCP so you can edit it as you see fit. Change the colors, put up your own logo, or even put in mobile ads to monetize your community.

Support for Popular Mobile Devices

IP.Board 3.1 has built in support for a list of many popular mobile devices. Keep in mind it's easy to add support for even more right in the AdminCP.

Included with IP.Board 3.1

This new mobile skin is included for free with IP.Board 3.1 when it is released. It will install right along with the upgrade and be available for your members to enjoy.

I'm not really sure what you mean by "work" :)

Since all the content you make in IP.Content is custom it's really up to you to make things like that work with your content.

It did not automatically change but I was able to change it manually and it worked.

I have to say I am not a big fan of the search bar being there by default. Liked it better as a link.

The snapback image is still missing. I think it's a shame the avatars were lost... Why not do something like this?

By the way just so everything I say it's not negative I really like it. It is much improved. Thew new little icons and the new combinations and gradients make it look a LOT better and sharper.

The same thing any other skin does? As I said before: you create the content in IP.Content so it's up to you to make it look good :)

That mobile design does look very good! Even possible to use that on some occasions as the "preselected" design, it does most of the things a forum needs: displaying and creating posts.

Alex asked for "Samsung" to be added. We have samsung key tied to Siemans right now, so I just told him we'll do it later (didn't want to fiddle).

User agent for *most* (but not all) samsung phones can be matched with something along the lines of

(^|;)samsung

(case-insensitive)
  1. Invision Power Services

  3. → IPS Company Blog
  4. → Mobile Skin Now Online
