Classifieds 1.2 Dev Update: Package Pricing

In my previous blog entry I introduced new customisable advert types to Classifieds. In this entry I'm pleased to introduce yet another set of features created as a direct result of your suggestions.
Limiting Packages by Member Group
Classifieds 1.0 introduced the concept of charging your community members for creating adverts, with the forthcoming 1.2 release this has been extended further.
It is now possible to set up packages restricted by member group. Want to allow your moderators or VIP members to be able to advertise for free? Simply set up a new package and restrict to those member groups only.
Vary Listing Fees By Advert Value
Package pricing can now also be varied according to the value of the item being added. Communities with a more diverse subject matter can therefore charge less for low value items and more for higher value items such as real estate.
The image below shows an example of how to set this up.
In this example. Items up to $50 are charged at $0.99 with renewals $0.49. Items valued 50 or over (up to 100) are charged at $1.99 with $0.99 renewals.
The following video shows how this works from the member's perspective when creating an advert, with the price to pay updating automatically.

Featured Adverts
When setting up a package, there also now exists an option to automatically feature any adverts created using that package. Featured items will display at the top of the results pages as well as being tagged with a featured badge to give them more visibility and optionally allowing you to charge more for this type of advert.

For example member A buys package X at a cost of $5, which contains the ability to start 4 sale threads in a period of 30 days.
Package Y contains 10 sale threads at $10 in a period of 90 days and so on.
