This is great, though I had a little issue until I realised the Redirect URI was calling https which I don't have on my test server, changed to http and worked fine :)

Very nice, you should also add the Google option to the sign-up screen like the FB option is.

Thank you so much man. This is outstanding. Now, if only you could update your status on Google+ like you do with FB and Twitter.

Is possible.... I do provide a wrapper class.

Google + API is accessible with little effort with it.

Will this plugin store the users email address in the forum database?

Or will it be a cryptic set if numbers as when people register via Facebook?

if the email is not in use in the local database, it will store the users email.
Regardless, it will show a link to customize email and password near the validating area until the user does so.

FYI - if IP.Board is configured to use certificate based HTTPS authentication, the embedded Google image buttons will cause a mixed secure/non-secure content warning on the logon page. For example, Chrome will display this:

 biw081.png

This can be fixed by editing the displayAjaxButton, displayButton, and displayIcon templates.

Replace:

<img src='{$this->settings['board_url']}/public/style_extra/signin/login-google-icon.png' alt='{$this->lang->words['macro__google']}' />

With:

<img src='{https://forums.xxx.com/public/style_extra/signin/login-google-icon.png' alt='{$this->lang->words['macro__google']}' />

Also, IP.Board's "New registration email validation" -> "Admin Validation" setting, does not work with this plug-in. The newly registered member will have immediate access to the forums & will bypass validation.
