Some servers limit the length of the request line (mainly $_GET). This can create problems with IPB's method of minify, they pass what css/js including the path and extension, on the request line along with an anti-cache hash, and this request can often go over the limits of the request line, especially if you have numerous applications/hooks/skins that require additional css/js to be loaded. (this is often noticeable by missing styles, no js loaded, etc).

With this modification, it removes this limit only passing a anti-cache hash and the type (css or js) on the request line.

This modification is mainly meant for people who have ran into this problem in the past, but do not want to go through the hassle of condensing css/js to a single file, or unable to increase the LimitRequstLine in apache configuration (due their host not allowoing .htaccess files, or their host refusing to up the limit, or not wanting to increase over the default limit, as this would require altering it in apache source code and recompiling).

!!!this modification is like IPB's default minify, it will not help you with CDN issues, Please read the support topic for more information on how this modification works, and what it does!!!!
