Important Note: If you are using the old Featured Images Settings hook, please uninstall it completely and replace it with this one.
 
This very simple hook allows you to make a few small configuration changes to IP.Gallery. It's basically just simple settings that I've personally had a need for.
 
Currently, the hook has 5 settings you can play with. I may add more in the future. For the featured images slider, you can set the size of your images and set the number of featured images that are actually pulled. For the home page, you can set the number of recent albums, images and comments that are displayed.

Featured Images Size
This setting allows you to change the image size for the patchwork image slider. This currently only applies to the patchwork slider, I'll see about adding a setting for the default slider sometime in the future. By default, IP.Gallery pulls your medium sized images. With the default settings, this is usually the best option. However, if you've more than doubled IP.Gallery's default sizes, this may be undesirable. Using excessively large images in the patchwork slider not only consumes more bandwidth, but it can also make some browsers lag. With this setting, you can safely have larger medium sized images for your display pages while using small images for your patchwork slider. Or you can even use large images, if you have some justifiable reason for that.

Disable Cutoff Date
This setting has been removed, as IP.Gallery disables the cut-off date by default now. It no longer serves any purpose.

Number of Featured Images
This setting allows you to define how many featured images you wish to pull. The default setting is 20. I set this a little higher with my patchwork slider to keep a more varied pool of images available.
 
Number of Recent...
The home page settings are self-explanatory. You can set how many recent albums, images and comments you wish to display on your gallery home page here.
