Are the bookmarks going to be user specific, group specific, or universal?

In other words, can I have my own set of bookmarks that will be availble to me, and the other admins have their own bookmarks that are available only to them? Or will everyone be adding bookmarks to a central pool of bookmarks that everyone else will have to deal with?
  2. SirJeff added a comment on a blog entry: Switch to IPS

I've been with IPB since 1.1, and I wouldn't dream of using anything else. The customer service is top notch, and the security and stability is even better.

I tried one of those other very popular CMS products, and the script kiddies had the latest version defaced in less than 24 hours. IP Content is way easier to use, and far more secure.

Have you looked at the demo that is available here?

As far as I know, you are free to edit and change any graphics that you want. IPS even provides a GDK to make it easier for you. The only requirement IPS has is that you leave the copyright notice in the footer intact, unless you purchase the optional "Copyright Removal".

Here's an idea. How about changing the filename of the favicon in the distro across the board to favicon-dist.ico? Then the overwriting problem is solved, and those who want to use the IPB favicon only need to rename it.

TheArchon, and bOx, no offense intended, but hopefully you'll stay off of my shared server. I've had to deal with the entire server being blacklisted because some idiot wanted to spam his site members. It was a nightmare, and no, it's not just your problem. When my server got blacklisted, topic notifications, PM notifications, daily post summaries, and even registration emails were being blocked from my site WHEN I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG. If you want to spam your members, even when they decide that they don't want it, then I feel sorry for every other site on your server.
  6. SirJeff added a post in a topic: The Ban Filters

I too have an extensive ban filter list. Ideally, I'd like to see it broken down into the three categories, with each category broken down further to 20, or 30, or even 50 entries per page.
