1. Bobbins added a post in a topic: When is IPB 4.0 ?

I suppose a good snippet of information could be just to announce what state the development is in, i.e pre-alpha, alpha etc, then people can make their own guesses. I did that when I used to develop on the Amiga, and it seemed to keep people happy.

I doubt you'll ever see and end to the "when will it be ready" question as most of us are impatient.

Thanks Ryan, I have no problem with waiting, just wasn't sure if there was a problem somewhere.

:thumbsup:
3. Bobbins added a post in a topic: How long does it usually take to review a payment?

Ok thanks, I made the payment yesterday @ 21.06 GMT, and it's now 16.19 GMT
4. Bobbins added a post in a topic: How long does it usually take to review a payment?

Hi, I renewed my license yesterday, and I was just wondering how long it usually takes to process the payment? It's still currently under review.

Thanks.
5. Bobbins added a comment: Reputation showing zero

I changed the reputation type to Like and the Likes showed up on the comments. I then changed it back to + and - rep and it now shows.
6. Bobbins added a comment: Teaser paragraph doesn't appear in forum post

Thanks, I learn something new everyday with this system. I had to put in the following as it didn't automatically add a new line between the teaser and the main content.
{value}
<br />
<br />
Teaser paragraph doesn't appear in forum post
I've set my articles to also post to the forum, however the teaser paragraph is missing in the posted topic.

Would rebuilding the reputation have any effect?

Reputation showing zero
Hi, the reputation on the comments in the gallery all show 0 on my board. They do however have reputation and I can view it by clicking on it, and then the names pop up.

Also, if someone adds some new reputation to the comment, then it shows correctly.

10. Bobbins added a post in a topic: Block templates - Where to find them?

Thanks. Hopefully more will be added as I'm still getting to grips with it all.
11. Bobbins added a post in a topic: Block templates - Where to find them?

I noticed in this blog entry that block templates can be shared, however I can't seem to find any to download? Am I blind, or has nobody uploaded any yet?

It would be interesting to see what others have come up with.
12. Bobbins added a comment on a blog entry: IP.Content Media System 1.1.5, Media Tags!

Yes brilliant system, brilliant support. Well worth the money.
13. Bobbins added a comment on a file: Media System

Great system, takes the crap out of setting it all up.

On a side note though (unless I'm missing something), you seem to have missed the part on setting up the categories in the readme file. I worked it out, but I just thought I'd let you know for any users that aren't familiar with it all.

Ugly product image thumbnails
The product image thumbnails seem to be ugly and jagged. I agree that this probably isn't a bug, but it does look unprofessional.

Have a look at the attached image and you'll notice all the small thumbnails are jagged as opposed to the nice clean thumbnails that you get in the gallery. Even the larger preview image looks harsh on some product images.

Is there no way this can be made to work like the gallery, i.e have a custom generated thumbnail of a set size?

Just to add to this, members on my site have said a similar thing using varied browsers (not just IE9). Happens on login, status updates and posting messages apparently.

Note to self - resist the urge to be one of the first to download updates in future.... Let everyone else discover the errors first :)

1. ZakRhyno

Agreed xD

2. DiecastX

It's difficult to resist but wise to do so. However, 3.1.3 was a very clean upgrade for me from 3.0.5. I'll sit tight for awhile.

3. Sailfindragon

Upgrade went smoothly enough. Ip content is showing a few errors! I must resist in future!

4. csm

I resisted and am one happy camper I did.

5. Bobbins

Wouldn't usually mind, but the articles are down, blocks are down, only static pages are working as intended.... :o

6. Wolfie

This is why I let the pawns go first.

Thinks "New User" documentation would be a good idea. I.e a brief list of tips and links to key areas of the board, like profile customization etc. I find most of my users have no idea how to change most things to suit their needs.

1. glorify

Great idea.

Don't worry, he won't bite, unless you smell of vinegar.
