Ok now... Looks like I have multiple invoices in emails as proof that she kept generating new ones as I cancelled them. There is a ton of them! Heck I was even getting them in June, July etc... after she took my $75 for a supposed 6 months in march.
So far I count 21 emails, and like I said, I kept cancelling the invoices.
"A new invoice has been generated for you."
Please login to the client area to submit payment.
Note that if payment is not received for an item before the expiry date, the item and associated services will expire on that date."
This is an email that she sent me. Obviously I mentioned here that I cancelled this more times than I can count. And everytime I did, I got yet another renewed invoice. Likely 10-20, I have to go look for them now. Does she have to manually create a new invoice each time I cancel one?
Also, I was not enabled as a premium member the entire time and had no use of the skins.
As per Sherri of IBskins (And I hope she realizes that her site will get shut down if she does this...)
"If this dispute isn't dropped, I'll have no choice but to ban you from IBSkin and post your PayPal transactions as well as all your personal details and copies of this support ticket publicly here on our site for everyone. I don't like doing that, but I can't believe you have done this when our TOS clearly states that YOU are responsible for your subscription payments and cancelling them. Not us. You had a 6 month premium membership that you used from my site and took advantage of all my hard work and then ripped me off of the money that was paid to me.
As I said, I need this dispute dropped or all of this will go public on our site along with the PayPal transaction receipts and also it will all be emailed to all the other IPB skinners and programmers so they can be on the look out for you if you show up on someone else's site."
In October 2012, I purchased a 6 month premium membership.. When it expired I chose not to buy a new one since they were no longer updating skins for my forum version. But still, they generated an invoice. So I went there and cancelled it. Then it kept generating new ones over and over again. And
I kept going in and canceling them.
Fast forward to yesterday. I went into PayPal to see if my web host charged my correctly, and saw some strange Ibskin subscription saying it was cancelled due to cc card. I was like huh? So I looked back and they charged me without authorization for $75. Immediately I contested it with PayPal and went to Ibskin to demand that they refund my money. Call me crazy but I was planning on continuing my relationship as long as they returned my money.
While there I saw that I had not one single paid invoice there since my last one in 2012. Yet I had a charge in March of 2013?
When I went to see what they had to say about the unauthorized charge this afternoon, I was banned. And conveniently I can't access the invoice system either now.
This here is just the facts.
This could just be related to using IPB 3.34. If so, oh well, at least I tried. :)
With 1.12, there seems to be a problem, if you change the preloaded images to anything but 5, it goes right back to 5.
Also, how highslide acts is really dependant on the browser used. IE you can't see any of the text for next, previous, movie, etc... Firefox, you can see it, but on a dark pic, not at all. IE it will preload every pic in a tiny version from the page on the bottom of the screen in a row. But firefox will show much larger pictures and they will get cut off on the right. Plus there will be a hodgepodge of overlaps on the screen.
With all versions... Normally you see images right away with a ctrl f5 in Firefox, but now, at first, you see the names of the image links before they load.
With all versions, there is extra page load time. Ranging from 1 second with version 1.0 to double the regular page load time in 1.12. I suspect the 1.12 errors are related to the preloading glitch.
Take your time! :) I am grateful to be getting whatever I do get. :) Thank you. :)
Hey those odd photos ARE external pics after all. But I am perplexed to see an outside photo handled internally. In the same exact topic, if you click on photo bucket or fliker pics it takes you to the site. You hover and it says external pic. But I have some that don't say external pics on hover. You click on them, and the enlarge right in front of you vs taking you to the photo site. Now that is odd!
