  1. shyest added a post in a topic: Avatar with articles.

    I am not sure how to do this but I would like to add the avatar of whoever added an article to IP.Content. I would like to add it to the beginning of this code:

    <div class="desc"><RIGHT IN HERE>{$record['article_date']} | {parse template="userHoverCard" group="global" params="$record"}<if test="$record['category_link']"> {$this->lang->words['fpdt_in']} <a href='{$record['category_link']}'>{$record['category_name']}</a></if></div> So it shows with the date and hovercard info.

    Thanks in advance.

    Any guidance is  appreciated.

    Thanks

  5. shyest added a post in a topic: Needing to pull a Custom Profile Field into a Look & Feel Template

    Hello everyone who can hopefully help me.

    I am trying to create a custom feel to my site with avatars being pulled from a database that in turn completes a url and shows the avatar.

    Thats what I am trying to do simply... Now into the nuts and bolts of that concept.

    I have 95 % of my avatars working as I would like them to. However with code and such some of the avatars are not showing as they should.

    I have found the incorrect code and know how it should be however I have not a clue how it needs to be coded to work the way I need it to...

    In the ACP under Look & Feel > Global Template > userSmallPhoto there's this line of code
    <img src='{$member['pp_small_photo']}' I am needing it to say

    <img src='https://minotar.net/avatar/{$data['field_11']}' or something like it that would pull from field_11 of my custom profile fields that are filled out by my users.

    Thanks for your time...

  6. shyest added a post in a topic: Custom Profile Fields

    I am trying to pull a field into the Template userSmallPhoto in the Look & Feel for some custom avatars. However I am not that tech savy to get it working 100% I have most of the images showing like I would but there's about 15% that I need to pull the field field_11 so it finishes a url and imports the avatars according to whats in that field.

    Thanks for the help.

    The owner of the api has released it to the public due to DDoS attacks and so forth...

    I am not sure why but I keep getting this Driver error only on my domain.com/forum page

    I am trying to get info from a custom profile field and populate it with a url to pull a photo off the web for avatars.

    mySQL query error: SELECT m.* FROM ipb_members m LEFT JOIN WHERE m.member_id = 1 This is the code I am using.
    $data = ipsRegistry::DB()->buildAndFetch( array( 'select' => 'm.*', 'from' => array('members' => 'm'), 'add_join' => array('select' => 'f.*', 'from' => array('pfields_content' => 'f'), 'where' => 'f.member_id = m.member_id'), 'where' => 'm.member_id = '.$member['member_id'], )); Thanks for any help.

    Guess I won't be using it now since I don't know what else to do to fix it since I had this code done for me.
  14. shyest added a post in a topic: How would you pull info from the database?

    The mentioned code is what I use to get the situation above to work.
