Some people like it, some people dont like it... everyone has their own opinion about it..

Is there a way to just edit the colors ourselves? If not.. How about the ability to change to a color we want, or the ability to use the boards theme to use on the ACP as well.
  5. CrossFire-Radio added a post in a topic: is IPS rolling out license renewal fee increases for IP.Board?

Yes, it is. They changed that a bit back ago, to where it combines everything you have purchased together for renewal. You can however choose to not renew one of the items.

There is an addon that will show in the board stats "Members Registered Today", you can allow who is able to see them, and shows more than 1.

    Just a thought. :D

This is something that (including myself) alot of people have been wanting. Those of us with multiple sites or if we add something to our current site, IPS.Connect will be such a dream saver!!! can't wait for its release!!!
  8. CrossFire-Radio added a post in a topic: "Gift Subscriptions" with IP.Nexus?

This is a feature that really needs to be added to Nexus. I have some site staff, that like to get our members subscriptions. And I had to actually do it a weird way, where as it would be great if they could go into Nexus.. select the subscription and choose "Give as gift" and select the member or members to gift it to. and after the purchase has been made, automatically set those members chosen to whatever subscription package was chosen.

Great that pInterest is being added in. Less editing I need to worry about now. Also good to note about the IPC Blocks

I did the testing on this, and it works perfectly... Thanks so much Brandon
  11. CrossFire-Radio added a post in a topic: Create a PHP page

Hmm.. im still getting errors from it, because im using "Raw php" and I have some regular HTML in it... Its spitting out errors because of the HTML..

Is there a way to use both HTML and PHP together on the content page with out getting the errors?

Is it basically using alot of "echo" statements and such in order for it to work correctly?
  12. CrossFire-Radio added a post in a topic: Create a PHP page

I am actually trying to work on a php page, but I am getting confused with what to actually put in... For example:

    <? $array = array('something here', 'Something here', 'Something here', 'Something here',); $randkey = array_rand($array); ?> <!DOCTYPE html> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en"> <title><?php echo $array[$randkey]; ?></title> Now when I do that, I get the following error:

Parse error : syntax error, unexpected '<' in /applications_addon/ips/ccs/sources/pages.php(167) : eval()'d code on line 1

So how do I actually input the php tag for it to work correctly ?

nice job.. they should pin this.. :D
  14. CrossFire-Radio added a post in a topic: Suggestion: Automatically ignore words smaller than min allowed in search instead of breaking with an error

Great!! Its alot better to get some kind of results instead of an error page telling you that some of your search words are to short.. and then trying to come up with some kind of search term for what you actually want.. never turns out the way you want it.. = Specially, when you are trying to find a specific error that your own site gets,, and it has one or two words that around 2-3 letters... and when its set to min of 4 letters.. the search just fails instead of giving you something related to what you are searching for..
  15. CrossFire-Radio added a post in a topic: Ignore user in chat

Theres where PMs come into play actually... John could send Sue a PM and ask what that was about... and sue says "I was replying to "joe""

That ends it right there... However.. If John has Joe on ignore, obviously, there was a reason for it... And Joe would still show up in the Online users list of the chat room, so John knows Joe is in there... he just cant see his chat..

    (What Sue sees)
John: I love playing Xbox 360.
Joe: See the Yankees game last night?
Sue: The home run was amazing!
John: What? What are you talking about a home run?

    (What John sees)
John: I love playing Xbox 360.
Joe: (user on ignore (Click here) to un-ignore) (or some preferable word)
Sue: The home run was amazing!
John: (some other new sentance here)

Then it wouldn't be as confusing, and if Joe was accidentally set on ignore instead of Sue, at least they would know.. and can un-ignore them. The "click here" would open in a new window/tab and take the user to their profile of the "ignore" page, yadda yadda yadda....

could even make it an option in the ACP maybe... under member groups > chat
Allow group to ignore users in chat Yes|No (but not allowed to ignore Moderators or Admins)
And Moderators can not ignore Admins or other Moderators

I dunno, sound like to much there? lol
