Charles posted on the preview site that he will be opening the preview site up to everyone very soon. There is a reason he was limiting approved accounts, mainly to maintain control of bug reports in the infancy stage of public review.
Updated now to just say 2014...which could be from now until December 31st....and even then they are just another text edit away to make it even longer. I hope whatever "polishing" they are doing is worthwhile. Why do I still think we will wait and once it's released it will be very buggy? Hope not...the waiting is old :(
Can you tell me how you did this? I want it to show a notification for all unread messages not just new ones. If I'm in a conversation with someone and then I get a new message it's easy to look over the previous conversation because there is no notification.
Why would you wait? You can go ahead and enjoy this version of invision board and when 4.0 is available you will be able to upgrade for free as long as your membership is current. Of course, if you purchase any 3rd party applications that are compatible with the current version of invision board you would have to wait for them to be upgraded by their developer (if needed).
Does that mean 3.4 skins will work on version 4.0? I'm asking because I'm thinking of having a custom skin done and don't want to buy it now with 4.0 on the horizon....unless it'll work on 4.0 then I can go ahead and get it done.
In previous board versions there has always been a 1 line space between the box and the new text. Maybe this as they intend it to be in 3.4 and if so can someone offer me an edit so it'll give the space by default.
Andy I apologize. This is occurring while using the Custom Sidebar application in the ACP. I think this will be a application issue and not a board issue. I couldn't reproduce this issue anywhere but on that application. You can ignore this....
