So I'm trying to build an app for IPS for my own private use, but I'm having a hell of a time getting SEO-friendly URLs to work right.
My app is simply called "Bans" and I'm going to use it to manage banning people from my game servers. It'll only have two public pages: one to list all bans and one to show details about a particular ban. They're both in one 'view' module as 'list' and 'details', respectively.
I managed to get /bans/ to show the ban list (and the tab goes there) but the non-friendly URL isn't redirecting to the friendly one.
I also want /bans/(.+) to go to the details section, but I can't get that to work at all.
I can't seem to find any mechanism in Nexus to sell "blocks" of advertisement impressions.
For example, I want to sell banner ads at a rate of $2 per 1000 impressions, but I can't see any way to do this without creating different packages with different prices and numbers of impressions. Even then, this limits the maximum purchase to however many packages I have the patience to enter.
For starters, while I'm new to IPS modding, I'm not new to PHP or OOP.
I installed a hook to allow users to bump their own threads using a button that's displayed on the topic view page. I also wrote a custom hook that extended the same class that the bump button did, but overrode a different method. The bump button in the first hook continued to appear, but it stopped doing anything, while the second hook worked perfectly fine. To fix this, I just added the functionality of my custom hook to the bump button hook, but that solution is hardly "good".
Is there a way to get IPB to properly handle two hooks extending the same base class?
