    Hey all,

Firstly i am a quality designer and do produce solid work.. Now i am really trying to launch my project ASAP this will be a "Premium Designs" Business that will be covering all the popular CMS / Forum platforms as well as containing Webmaster Forums / Guides / Tutorials / a open Marketplace for other members to sell their work and or services...

Now currently i only own IP.Board + IP.Content and am in need of all of the other IPB / IPS addons in order to even begin to get my website up and running.... So a long story short....

I am looking at taking on any for of Custom work / Design work in order to fund these other addons ASAP.

So please if anyone is interested please shoot me a PM with your details / requirements and i'll give you the best quote possible.. I am also open to doing some work in return for any addons you may not be using (having them transfered to my account)...

    Regards, Darren

    Hey Robert..

I am trying to create a menu (well 2 actually) that would look like this in one centered line / within one primary menu looking / type navigation bar:

    Menu #1 | Logo | Menu #2

Now i can manage the CSS on my own.. what i am struggling with is working out how to embed / make these menu's appear within my globalTemplate.. I can create them using your ProMenu Plus menu page.. i just seem to be missing something in regards to transferring these menus into the template :S

Thanks in advance for any help on this matter.

Can this be integrated with the Trader Feedback addon: http://community.invisionpower.com/files/file/3366-trader-feedback-system/ ?

Thanks in advance for any feedback on this matter.

Sorry to bump this... but this is rather important and as i cant find any information on this matter.. I really didn't want to bump it but i don't have much choice..

I am about to begin installing / configuring my website on a live server and don't want to get in to deep, specially if i need to start from scratch once 3.4 is released.

While you have a load of questions... could you possible explain your website plans / niche so we can get a better idea of what features you are looking for..

Happy to help but from the above you have asked a lot of questions that even some staff members here are going to struggle to answer / understand.

    Hey guys,

I noticed the upcoming 3.4 release is going to bring a lot of updates one being the IP.SEO add-on being included in this release which will mean installing the IP.SEO add-on will not be necessary...

My issue is currently i am designing / working on my project via my localhost with the intention of moving it to a live server once it's completed... Now what i am wondering is if i install IP.SEO now on my localhost and then need to update to 3.4 once it becomes available... Will there be any foreseeable issues doing it this way or am i better off waiting for the 3.4 release.

Thanks in advance for any advise on this matter.. sorry to post this but i am running out of time and really don't want to go overboard with customizations now if i am going to need to run into trouble when updating.

    Regards, Darren

This was enough to get me started, but ive since added my own tweaks and a lot of extra coding.
  11. Expert Pixels added a post in a topic: Localhost to live advice please

    Hey all,

Just wondering if i could get some feedback from IPS experts.. I usually start a project by messing around on my localhost first just to get a rough idea of where i am heading in terms of general design / features / content etc etc..

Ive begun chipping away at a new project now and before i get in too deep i would love to hear your feedback / advice regarding IPS and moving a localhost install to a live site... are there any setbacks / negatives to this ?

I just don't know how far i should go on my localhost or even if i am better off just using my localhost as a basic install that i can work on a new skin.

Currently i am still playing around with templates basically still designing a new skin for this project but am close to adding forums / content and other various templates.

Thanks in advance for any help on this matter.

    Do you have IP.Content ?
  13. Expert Pixels added a post in a topic: Security updates / Patch question ?

    Hey all,

Sorry for posting but as i am somewhat new to IPB, i am not sure of the correct method to patch IPS / IPB.

I am currently working on my localhost for my upcoming project so patching while on my localhost is not really needed.. When i set my project live that will be a different case.. So could someone please advise me of what / how to go about updating the latest security patches release in the past few weeks ?

Should i assume that if IPB release a security patch that this would be implemented into the latest packages within the client area / license holders download section ?

I am posting in here because replies to the security update threads seems to be locked.

    Regards, Darren.

    Hey all,

I am already a IPS customer but am interested in purchasing further licenses for other projects but would like to know a few things first.

#1) Will the release of 3.4 have any effect on current templates / url's, basically i am wanting to know if updating will have any negative effect on my site if updating to 3.4 and further more to IPS4 / IPB4 once released..

#2) IPS4 / IPB4 is there a rough time frame on this.. also assuming i have IPS 3.3 / 3.4 (after updating) are there going to be massive changes in terms of the overall url structure / articles (IP.Content)..

Sorry for the somewhat confusing questions.. It's just no info on IPS4 / IPB4 is really known and while i think IPB is a solid company i am unsure of the future (like most people lol) but am just a little worried about developing projects on the current releases to find out future updates may possible have massive changes which could have negative effects if updating.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards, Darren
