    I found in ipb_styles.css
    when you changed min-width from 960px & 980px to 700px & 768px as below then IP.Board flowed/floated nicely on a portrait monitor:
    Don't know about other IP.etc products?

    /************************************************************************/
    /* LAYOUT */
    #content, .main_width {
    margin: 0 auto;
    /* Uncomment for fixed */
    /*width: 980px;*/
    /* Fluid */
    width: 87% !important;
    min-width: 700px;
    }

    #branding, #header_bar, #primary_nav { min-width: 768px; }

    Using windows 7, grab the caption bar of the browser displaying the IP.board and move it to the side of the screen the rendering of the IP.board collapses somewhat but the left right scroll bar needs to be used to view the entire page. The rendering of IP.board does not flow at all.

    And example of flowing and collapsible web page is here . When the browser is docked to the screen edge the page looks great there . I use dual monitors in portrait orientation, The page can be view in landscape or portrait and looks great in either too.

    The behavior of IP.board rendering in screen having widths typical of portrait orientation is inconvenient. Can the behavior be changed????

    tks
