I used VB and switched to IP right before the VB4 "upgrade". Didn't like the looks of it and started shopping around, and was pointed over here. I am glad I made the switch. I do not know a lot of code or anything extra, so ease of use is a plus.. and to top it off, IP is much more tight knit and integrated, and incorporates other social aspects seamlessly.
Just wanted to say a quick "thank you" to the developers behind IP.Board and associated applications. Coming from VBulletin 3.8 and not wanting more of the same from VB 4, I'm glad I made the switch. It's refreshing to see an updated forum software that's not the same old traditional "blocky" forum with traditional forum terminology. I think the modern look coupled with easy integration of other products and hooks as well as the social network integration makes it a great product that can help bridge the gap between social networking and discussion forums.
Anyway, I've just been reading posts and saw all the bickering from others, but coming from VB, I have nothing to complain about!
Simple question/fix, I should hope. I have activated the product at http://www.westernpariders.com and have set the number of pictures to be displayed at the top of the forum to 4 (because 5 drops to a new line on smaller resolution). I was wondering what I would need to do to center the 4 photos, rather than have the huge space to the right.
Also, is there a way to have a users garage list displayed in their signature, or must they link their vehicles in themselves?
I have installed and enabled it to display on the forum sidebar, but when I decided to disable this option, it will not save, therefore not removing from the sidebar. Everything is able to save settings.
