So I have this odd issue with the account activation emails sent out by my forum.
They all get marked as spam by google, but not by other email providers as far as I know. I've had to edit the language files just to remind those users to check their spam folder after registering.
I've done the following already and nothing has worked (I'm still doing all of this):
Used SMTP instead of PHP Mail
Used DKIM to verify the emails being sent via my domain (which google acknowledges on the emails as being signed by my domain)
Checked my domain as well as my server's IP for any email blacklisting (and found none)
Changed how the email looked via the language files a very significant amount (including the title) to differentiate it from other registration emails.
At this point I'm not really sure what I can do to fix this. Any suggestions?
Sorry if this is in the wrong section, by the way.

Recently I decided to completely re-install the OS on my CentOS 6 x64 Dedi server. Before I had done so, htaccess was working fine. Now, I've re-imported the database and re-uploaded the website files. The site works fine, but when I turn htaccess on in the settings and upload the .htaccess file, I get 404 s.
I checked to make sure the rewrite mod is on, and it is as far as I can tell.
