    I checked the shoutbox topic and also posted about my issue in that topic which was no help.

    I double checked and it is in the members table and has the correct length, type, etc. Thanks for the reply though :)

    Hey,

    I am having issues with a shoutbox addon. I would normally ask this question in the modifications support topic however the current developer of the mod isn't willing to help for free so I was hoping someone here might be able to offer some assistance/guidance.

    I am getting this SQL error when running the upgrade for Shoutbox.

    mySQL query error: UPDATE members SET shoutbox_shouts=88 WHERE member_id = 1   SQL error: Unknown column 'shoutbox_shouts' in 'field list' SQL error code: 1054 Date: Tuesday 09th October 2012 01:11:04 AM     ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Tue, 09 Oct 2012 01:11:04 +0000 Error: 1054 - Unknown column 'shoutbox_shouts' in 'field list' IP Address: XXXX - /forums/XXXX/upgrade/index.php?app=upgrade§ion=upgrade&do=appclass ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- mySQL query error: UPDATE members SET shoutbox_shouts=88 WHERE member_id = 1 .--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------. | File | Function | Line No. | |----------------------------------------------------------------------------+-------------------------------------------------------------------------------+-------------------| | XXXX/applications_addon/other/shoutbox/setup/versions/upg_13004/version_upgrade.php| [db_main_mysql].update | 24 | '----------------------------------------------------------------------------+-------------------------------------------------------------------------------+-------------------' | XXXX/setup/applications/upgrade/sections/upgrade.php | [version_upgrade].doExecute | 403 | '----------------------------------------------------------------------------+-------------------------------------------------------------------------------+-------------------' | XXXX/setup/applications/upgrade/sections/upgrade.php | [upgrade_upgrade].install_appclass | 148 | '----------------------------------------------------------------------------+-------------------------------------------------------------------------------+-------------------' | XXXX/setup/sources/base/ipsController_setup.php | [upgrade_upgrade].doExecute | 258 | '----------------------------------------------------------------------------+-------------------------------------------------------------------------------+-------------------'
    This is the SQL code I was instructed to run while updating.
    ALTER TABLE members ADD shoutbox_shouts BIGINT( 8 ) NOT NULL;   UPDATE core_applications SET app_title='Shoutbox', app_description='Shoutbox adds a feature rich shoutbox to your existing IP.Board!', app_author='Larry Lewis' WHERE app_directory='shoutbox';   CREATE TABLE shoutbox_stats ( s_date date NOT NULL, s_count bigint(8) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0', PRIMARY KEY (`s_date`) ) ENGINE=MyISAM;
    Any help finding a fix for this issue would be much appreciated.

    If you are paying $17.50 for coffee and cake, you sir are being ripped off.

    I agree with this, I would much rather pay for the application than paying for just support.

    I realise you might feel aggrieved, the upgrader works, the only issues that have come to me have been caused by non-application errors. If you want me to spend time on your system, sorry that's not a freebie.

    That SQL code I ran is provided by the updater, the code ran correctly and all tables/fields reflect the changes. I never asked you to spend time on my system however a point in the direction of what might be causes the issue would be helpful as I am not familiar with the code of the plugin however you are, hence the reason I posted on your forums.

    I am getting the following error when trying to upgrade to the latest version of Shoutbox (1.3.5) from 1.3.3.

    I tried asking the addon dev for help however he was trying to charge me nearly $20 for him to have a look at it.

    Thanks for the reply however this didn't work and it is still updating the location of the user.
  14. .MeoW. added a post in a topic: Don't display user viewing the page

    Hey Guys/Gals,

    I have a page setup in IP.Content which is basically just an include file that is being called by an Ajax script however when the Ajax script calls the page it will say the user is "Viewing page: teamspeak" rather than the page making the Ajax call.

    My question is how do I disable it so it doesn't change the persons page they are currently viewing?
