  1. Steven@wt added a post in a topic: Admin-side Support Request Tagging

    I think it would be nice to be able to add tags to support requests as a means of tracking common issues.
    For instance, you could add a tag of 'green t-shirt issue' to any support requests related to green t-shirts missing neck holes or something of the like.
    This way, once the issue is resolved, all tickets which were tagged 'green t-shirt issue' can be viewed and replied to in an organized manner, without having to keep track of the issues externally.
    Add search functionality specific to Staff Notes.

    Nexus 1.5.9 - Guests cannot see discounted price
    I did some searching, and this has been a bug since 2013.
    - Configure 'Guests' group to receive a Usergroup Discount.
    - Log out and view the Store.  The original MSRP will be displayed with no strikethrough or any other indication that the item is on sale.
    The item WILL add to the cart with the correct price, but this display issue makes it impossible to run a sale to the general public.

    Nexus 1.5.9 - Support Request Attachments in Email Notifications
    Support Request attachments in email notifications link to admin rather than public interface.
    - Attach a file to a support request via the admin interface and reply to SR.
    - Check email notification on users end, and note that the link contains a link to the admin interface, as well as the admin's current adsess key.
    The format *should* be:
    rather than:

    Client Area 'Overview' tab needs to be served via HTTPS
    **I realize 1.5.7 is now an 'old' version, but as far as I can tell this functionality was not altered in 1.5.8**
    When using SSL, setting '[b]Use https for sensitive information?[/b]' to YES, does not always set support requests to https.  (I finally discovered this to be the cause of my 'upload skipped' error in SR853829.  Uploads work via https, but do not via http.)
    1) Go to the client area
    2) Note that while on the 'Overview' tab, the URL shows 'http'.
    3) Click any open support requests from the 'Overview' page, and note that the URL stays as 'http'
    4) Now click on the 'Support' tab, and note the URL switches to 'https', as intended.
    5) Click on any open support requests from the 'Support' tab, and note the URL stays as 'https'
    Basically, if users are going to be able to access support requests from the 'Overview' tab, then I believe we need to use https for that tab as well rather than just the 'Support' and 'Billing Information' tabs.

    Thanks Adriano! I've needed something like this for a while now!

    Cannot use html in Package Descriptions
    I'm not sure exactly when this changed, but the 'Package Description' field used to accept html, and now it does not.  Html is now stripped and replaced with bbcode when a package is edited.  In some cases this strips some html-only formatting that cannot be reproduced with bbcode.
    This might be working as intended/not a bug, but I thought I'd bring it up since I'm really missing it.  I'm currently working around this via editing the database directly.

    Can't add packages to invoices if `nexus_packages` has over 1000 records
    [size=4][b]Environment:  [/b][/size]
    [size=4]IPB 3.4.3, Nexus 1.5.7, PHP 5.2.17, MySQL 5.5.3[/size]
    [size=4][b]Problem: [/b][/size]
    [size=4]Admins can't add packages to invoices if `nexus_packages` contains more than 1000 records.[/size]

    500 Server Error
    A misconfiguration on the server caused a hiccup. Check the server logs, fix the problem, then try again.
    URL: [url=""]§ion=invoices&do=add_item&item_app=nexus&item_type=package&invoice=1234[/url]
    [b]Error_Log says:[/b]
    [04-Apr-2013 14:58:18] PHP Fatal error: Unknown: Input variables exceeded 1000. To increase the limit change max_input_vars in php.ini. in Unknown on line 0
    [b]How to reproduce:[/b]
    1) Make sure you have at least 1001 records in your `nexus_packages` table.
    2) Visit any customer page (&app=nexus&&module=customers&section=view&id=1234)
    3) Click Add Invoice at the customer page
    4) Click 'Add Item' and select 'Package'
    5) Add any package
    6) Click 'Continue'.  The "500 Server Error" should appear.
    I believe this is because the Nexus has to deal with the fact that all the packages you are NOT adding have a value of '0', so they're still processed even though they're not actually going to appear on the invoice.

    Posting Status may have been appropriate as well. In any case great work as usual Adriano. :D

    Awesome. Useful for boards where members of other communities frequently join/visit so they can identify themselves via their usergroup.
