    Another bug:

The line breaks are showing up. However, each time I click 'edit' (the full editor), then click 'submit modified post', the topic template system adds an extra <br> for every line break there is in a text area. Example:

    Turns into:

    Another edit turns that into:

    Etc.

Hi, can I get support for my problem? Thanks.

No? It's not doing ANYTHING for the parsing line break issue.

When I type something with line breaks into a text area of the topic template field, it automatically deletes the line breaks. Example:

    That will turn into:

Okay, so I re-upload everything in the admin --> applications_addon folder?

Will this update fix the template system not parsing line breaks?

And what do I need to re-upload?? I don't want to lose the information I already have. :/

Bump. I really need support for this. :/

There seems to be a bug in the version for 3.4.x.

No matter what I do, I cannot seem to un check the "HTML" checkbox in the Views setting of a template. So, if I go to change the Views of Template A, and I un check the "HTML" checkbox (and OK the warning that pops up in my browser, telling me that all HTML will be lost, and converted to BBCode), then click "Finish"... It still forces the HTML when I check the Views settings again.

The reason that I do not want the HTML is because I believe this is the reason why the topic templates do not allow line breaks in fields. For example, if I type:

when I click "Post", it will convert it to:

Any ideas how to solve this?

Also, the "Mark as Read" button appears for topics that have already been marked as read. Even if you click the "Mark as Read" button, and hover over the topic, the button appears again.

    Great mod! :)

I tested out the 3.2 version, and it works awesomely. However, there is one little glitch: The "Mark as read" button doesn't appear on the hover card for topics that have replies. It appears for single-post threads, though. :)

The topic moderation dropdown spans horizontally on Google Chrome. Stretches out the page.

    Reporting one more problem:

Currently I only have one topic prefix: FIN.

I set it so that no tags are viewable, just the topic prefixes in a dropdown. So the two choices are "None" or "FIN".

Marking a topic as "FIN" is no problem. However, when someone tries to change it back to "None", the "FIN" prefix won't go away. I've tried numerous times as have my members to try to change topics marked as "FIN" back to "None" to no avail. :S

I've tried resynchronizing the forums, deleting post cache, clearing browser cache, a hard refresh, as well as running the 'repair installation' in the Advanced Tags & Prefixes app.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply.

I do have a redirect forum at the very top of the page, however removing that did not fix the first issue (I've tried clearing my cache).

Resynchronizing Forums did fix the second issue, though! Thanks! :)

    Reporting a couple bugs:

One of my forums is set up this way:

    CLASSROOMS (main forum)
    -- CHARMS (subforum)
    -- DADA (subforum)

A topic called "A" in CLASSROOMS has a prefix called "FIN" (set to show up on the board index), whereas a topic called "B" in CHARMS does not.

On the board index, when "B" is replied to, it shows up as "[FIN] B", even though the "FIN" prefix was only applied to "A" in the CLASSROOMS forum. "B" is not supposed to have any prefixes.

Also, when a topic with a prefix is moved to another forum (which allows the exact same prefix), the prefix does not show up on the board index. It shows when I view the topic listing within the forum, though.

    How can these be fixed?

I hope this made sense. >_<

Never did I say it was wrong, and I don't really care what the IPS staff and the other modders are doing. I don't really care to know, either. ;) Since no one answered, I simply thought it was an actual issue, and was being looked into. ;)

But, thank you for reading and answering finally. I will look forward to any future updates, whether or not it contains my feature request.

I see. I just thought it was something that was being looked into since no one answered in days. ;)

Why is it that it's necessary to re-do the process all over again, when one already knows the passwords to the accounts they are trying to link?

And would it be possible to update it with this feature in the near future?
