    Yep those sure are words.
  2. Mack_au added a comment on a blog entry: 4.0 - Advertisements

Is there going to be a way to put advertisements inside content? For example, to set an advertising block inside a long IP content article, or a forum post?

    Sounds good.

Just don't screw up my adsense and I'm happy.

Is it going to have a proper link to a forum. For some reason my sites mobile skins never have a proper link into the forum.

    Bump again.

It would also be good for the option to also include allowing only a specific number of votes, a specific number of times.

So you can give one option 3 votes, one option 2 votes, and a third option 1 vote.

    Thanks.
  6. Mack_au added a post in a topic: Is there any official 'float' image code?

I've been using an XML float code that I downloaded some time ago, but IP.Board updates have broken the code so it no longer displays properly in forum topics (but for god knows what reason, it still works perfectly fine in ip.content articles), causing the images to be displayed as inline images.

And I went and found an updated code... but it isn't 100% the same, but still uses the tag "float" so it breaks all the old float code totally (not displaying images at all).

So I can either break lots of old content, to have current content work, or not have any proper image floating in new articles.

Is there any official float code? Or can this please be added into a future version of the program, preferably with a basic code like:

    [float=right]image.jpg[/float]
    Thanks.

Bump. Just had a very annoying problem where I had to delete an existing package because someone who had it previously, let it expire, and wanted to renew it caused a great big freaking problem with the site. It should be a basic option.

There should be a feature inside the AdminCP that lets you know exactly what your average user level would be?

Will tables work? I would love a way to create a good table.

Convoluted process. Please keep the one-touch "Image button".

I don't use attachments, will the image insert still exist?

Another option is to block uploads entirely and get your users to upload things via tinypic, imageshack, photobucket etc. Keep the server storage for your own site purposes.

Thanks. I'll take a look at that.

    Edit - I found it
notify_new_invoice_text But it wouldn't let me change it.

If the Dev mod is the article I found on it, I'd rather leave it as is.
  15. Mack_au added a post in a topic: Custom renewal emails.

So I have a donation type feature which is a '12 month' deal. The site has been around just over a year so these renewals are starting to get sent out.

    An invoice has been generated for you. Please log in to submit payment for this invoice. If payment has not been submitted before your purchases' expiry date the purchase(s) will expire. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Invoice Title......: Renewal: [Package Name] Invoice Total......: [Cost] Invoice ID#........: [ID]
My issue with them, is that they are very dry, they don't fully explain what's going on, they sound to me like they are getting ahead of themselves by telling people they've got an invoice rather than a nice email something like:

"Thank you for your ongoing support of the website over the last 12 months. Should you wish to support the site again for the next 12 months please click on this link, and follow the instructions."
Is there any way this can be changed or improved?
