It's not that "Charter Members" are getting stuck, it's that new members that join aren't
automatically being converted into "Charter Members" after one day, even though that is
the setting I have it at, as per the screenshot above.
After checking a few profiles, it looks like you might be right, the members that haven't been
converted to "Charter Members" also haven't logged onto the site since signing up.
So the idea that promotion is triggered after the next login is looking valid so far.
Thank you for replying. What I mean is that, on the "home" page of my forum, members see the recent topics sidebar block filled in with different posts than guests. Even though both members and guest have permission to see the topics contained in the forum in question, but guests cannot read them.
Does this mean that Recent Topics only shows posts that the "viewer" is allowed to see and read?
The issue I'm having is that guests don't see the recent topics posted in my 1-on-1 Coaching Forum, even though they have permission to see the Forum (but not to read the topics in the forum).
The "Recent Topics" sidebar does show up, it just shows topics from a Forum with older posts than those in the 1-on-1 Coaching Forum. Guests do have permission to see and view the topics in that other forum (the one with the older topics).
