    Thanks for answering.
I've checked all permissions as indicated in https://www.invisionpower.com/support/guides/_/install-and-getting-started/installing-r18 and everything is correct...
The two settings using phpMyAdmin are correctly set.

I indicated that this was a bug and the answer was
This isn't because you had a custom theme - it's because you copied your live site over to test the upgrade, but failed to update the paths and URLs to your uploads directory first.  Subsequently, it wants to write to and read from your main site path rather than a path under "prueba...".

and I've checked all paths where I have indicated and they seem to be correct, so I don't kwnow what else to do...

    Hi,
    Thanks for your answer!
    I updated .htaccess and conf_global.php.
I can't access nor update ACP and that's the problem, I want to access the file or table where those paths are stored to change them, and I don't know where must I access.

    Hi,
I have a problem with paths. I can't access to ACP and I need to change paths to arrange a problem I have which cause not to be able to access the site and ACP in a normal way, only text.
I have to change some incorrects paths and URLs.
Which file must I modify? Which row in which table must I modify?
I tried to change in "conf_settings" the row "upload_url" and "upload_dir" but continue without working, I accessed using phpMyAdmin.

    Thanks

Problem after upgrading with a v3.4.7 skin
After upgrading from v3.4.7 to Beta 2 I can't access nor the ACP nor the site as before upgrading I had an specific skin. When upgrading, as the new code of IPB 4 doesn't understand an old v3.4.7 skin it doesn't show me the default skin instead of showing me text which is impossible to use

  6. pisaldi added a post in a topic: Problem with theme

    Hi everybody,
I've upgraded my live site in a trial site, the upgrade process has worked correctly, but the problem comes when I want to work with the new v4
I don't know why but the site and the ACP appears in Text mode instead using a Theme. I don't know if this is caused with the upgrading of the old skins or which is the cause...
Anybody knows de cause and the solution?

    Thanks in Advance

The option has been dedicate a pair of days migrating to cPanel... an increase from 64Mb to 512Mb of RAM has been the prize...

I make all installations online, not on my local disk, and I only can have one site...
  9. pisaldi added a post in a topic: Two test sites - Possible ?

So we must choose to make a clean installation or an upgrade one...
I thought a beta version was for trying everything, not having to choose one option...
  10. pisaldi added a post in a topic: Two test sites - Possible ?

    Hi,
I'm trying to set up two test sites... One site is a clean installation and the other is a trial of an upgraded installation
Both are in subdomains from the main site. Both are using the license key
    1151xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx-TESTINSTALL
But in the second one it indicates me the following

Your license has not been provided. Please supply your license key in order to continue.
    license_key_test_active

Is it possible to have to test installs simultaneously? If it is, what am I doing incorrectly?

    Thanks in Advance

The problem is when your host is godaddy... it is 64Mb limit with the old Godaddy Control Panel, and if you want more memory you have to change to a new cPanel Godaddy account, so you must migrate everything to a new host also in Godaddy and then have 500 Mb of memory limit
