Does indeed sound broken / worth of fixing to me..

    +1 :)

    Yes we do, but they don't matter. It's not like in the US.

    That's correct, that's what Nexus actually did. But now I see this "Purchase paid subscription" in my "user-dropdown" and can't get it away.
    How can I completely uninstall IP Subscriptions as I don't need it anymore due to Nexus being installed. I would be thankful for any help.

    In case anybody is using the above code with IPB 3.1.2 and beyond, you might need to add this line of code to the file initiating the login action. I had problems after upgrading the forums on a site which uses rewrite rules to route friendly URL's.
define( 'ALLOW_FURLS', FALSE );
Is there an article that shows how to create a new topic - similar to adding a new reply?

    Ah - got the problem. I was accessing without www. whereas I was logged into the forums with www.
    So I assume that it is the cookie path which interferes here.

    This code does not seem to work. I just tried it out and it tells me that I am not logged in even though I am. A quick var_dump($member) tells me that contents are fetched and correct (like session, ip-adress) but not the member id and other IPB values.

    This is a very good and much needed feature. I hope to see it incorporated soon :thumbsup:

    I have already put a canonical tag to my board index page and issued nofollow noindex to the error template (so in theory, spiders won't index them), and finally rel=nofollw to links like login, register, delete cookies, back to top and so on :)

    IMO I think we need to put some weight on the <h>s tags, because currently we have:

    is the board stat really that important to give it h2 weight? :huh:

    H-tags barely have much relevance in our time any more.

    Oh - bfarber - I have to disagree. SEO definitely falls into the category Science. It's not about "feelings" or what people "feel" or "think" is good or not. While you can not put exact numbers behind every statement you certainly can prove what does have impact and what does not.

    Yeah, I found it now. It is there, it works - thats perfectly fine. Probably just my fault that I did not search "right" or did not read the whole documentation.
