Hence, that function was removed in 4.0 as it is no longer needed.

    Thank you.
  2. sunrisecc added a post in a topic: Time Zone adjust

For now, I have added a directive to my .htaccess file. On another server, I added the equivalent line to php.ini as I have access to it.
  3. sunrisecc added a post in a topic: Time Zone adjust

In 4.0, how is the time zone set/adjusted if different than the server?
  4. sunrisecc added a post in a topic: Go to last unread post

I have now moved a few pixels to the right and it works more often .
  5. sunrisecc added a post in a topic: Go to last unread post

Sometimes I have to click more than once.

  7. sunrisecc added a post in a topic: New registration email validation = none but everyone is still in validating?

    Two suggestions:
    1) Make the change again. First change the registration to another choice, save it and then change it again to NONE and save again. Test immediately(by registering a test account).

    2) If it works, fine;
    else submit a ticket
  8. sunrisecc added a post in a topic: New registration email validation = none but everyone is still in validating?

Most changes in IPB are NOT retroactive. Hence only future registrations are affected. You will have to handle the 'old' validating members manually.
  9. sunrisecc added a post in a topic: Requiring re-validation on e-mail change in IPB4

I disagree. I like it the way it is now. I do not want any further notifications to be sent to the original address, for example.
  10. sunrisecc added a post in a topic: (M34) Auto Welcome Members

It has always worked for me as I use the validation and approval method of registration.

  12. sunrisecc added a post in a topic: Any plans to make editor in IP.Board 3.4 series IE11 compatible?

Is that link from an email before this topic got moved? I used one from the topic after the move. Topic was moved around January 9th.

Clicking the unsubscribe link in the notification of your reply worked for me.
  14. sunrisecc added a post in a topic: Any plans to make editor in IP.Board 3.4 series IE11 compatible?

I was able to login successfully. I tried a test reply and could not paste a test word  until I changed the editor mode by clicking the upper left button. Then all pastes worked.

  6. sunrisecc

    3.2.3 to 3.3.2 finally done!

  7. sunrisecc

Used to enjoy reading tracker, now it is an effort in its present format

    1. Michael

      No kidding.

  8. sunrisecc

finally updated my board to 3.2.3

  9. sunrisecc

Today, this board is reacting better than the last few days. What changed?

  10. sunrisecc

Why can't I start a topic in the tracker for tracker issues?

    1. Alex

      We're not accepting bugs yet

    2. sunrisecc

      Good answer. LOL.

    3. Michael

Probably a bug, best to post this in the tracker.

    4. sunrisecc

Per Alex above, they are not accepting bugs yet. Hence no use reporting it at this time.

    5. Michael

Yeah, I know, sorry, was trying (evidently unsuccessfully) to make a joke.

    6. sunrisecc

No need to apologize. When I waken each morning, I ask myself if today is the day!

    7. .Peter

      @Michael I laughed.

  11. sunrisecc

having difficulty following topics in the latest tracker

    1. sunrisecc

Tracker has been updated; just 'next unread' needs fixing.

    2. AndyF

There's still a few things to iron out :) , although each 'update' (its had one or two today) brings more fixes.

  12. sunrisecc

I'm so old that the only hookers I have a need for, are the members who create hooks for the board.

    1. Breadfan

^^Yeah..well, at least they don't charge you much.

    2. sunrisecc

      And the satisfaction lasts longer.

    Happy Birthday! :)

  14. sunrisecc

Tired of reading 'that's how VB does it'

    1. AndyF

Is that still going ? :o

    2. sunrisecc

Yes especially when IPB does it a different way.

    3. Gaffney

Well that's how VB users done it.

    4. AndyF

I meant VB :p , but in jest obviously :) , well from the bigger picture we have features they do not and vice versa too.

    5. media

All I care, IPB is going right direction ;)

    6. Charles

Depending on what it is, "that's how vB does it" is often a good reason NOT to do something ;)

    7. sunrisecc

      Amen.

  15. sunrisecc

is disappointed that the bug in the ACP of searching by last visit is till there. It was reported by Jason and myself in July. SQL command selects 20 while the ACP selects ~100.

    1. .Peter

Thats ok... my bug wasn't fixed either... How you are given the option to delete every one's status updates once you hit "View More"

    2. sunrisecc

At the very least, an explanation should be forthcoming. Someone will use the purge fuction and delete many more members than the admin wants.

  16. sunrisecc

Hope some of the bugs in the ACP get resolved before release of 3.1.3.

    1. Planetby

yea I hate wee beasties too lol

  18. sunrisecc

    where's cleancut 3.1.2?

    1. Alex

      Ask Brian. :)

    2. SkimPappa

CleanCut will be released in due time. There are no 'big' issues that will stop you from using the 3.1.1 version of it.

  19. sunrisecc

    3.1.2 is available for download

    1. Olivier Turbis

      what?

    2. emm1

      Indeed.

    3. Olivier Turbis
