I got it and changed the url accordingly. Still there is no query and no blocked registration although spammers got registered after the change. I reported one spammer to SFS and can see the reported spammer in SFS database under my account, which means communications with SFS site work fine.
Thank you very much for replying. Too many query sent from my site is probably not an issue since my site is hosted on a dedicated server and is the only site on the server uses SFS service. I notice that 7 queries have been sent in the past 24 hours, but no registration was blocked. Actually in recent days, a lot of spammers above the threshold got registered with my forum.
Previously, the plugin blocked thousands of registrations each month, but stopped working on July 26 for reasons unknown and no single registration has been blocked ever since. I did not change any setting on or before July 26. My IP is not blocked by SFS. My version of this mod is the latest (2.1.5). What else could be wrong?
After upgraded to 3.4.5, the same problem came back with "expression" in forum title changed to "exp<b></b>ression". This cannot be corrected in forum admin by editing forum title, and has to edit it in mysql.
After thinking that I should not receive a 500 error, so I look at my error log and found the cause is that the directory of "ips_kernal" is set to 777. So I change it to 755, now there is no more 500 error when visiting any of the above listed links, but I got new error message as this:
for example, visit this link /forums/ips_kernel/HTMLPurifier/HTMLPurifier/URIScheme/file.php
gives this error:
Fatal error: Class 'HTMLPurifier_URIScheme' not found in /home/xxx/public_html/forums/ips_kernel/HTMLPurifier/HTMLPurifier/URIScheme/file.php on line 6
I receive lots of warning message as shown below. Has it anything to do with any addon?
Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/xxx/public_html/forums/admin/sources/classes/text/parser.php:1074) in /home/xxx/public_html/forums/admin/sources/classes/output/formats/html/htmlOutput.php on line 127
Immediately after I upgraded my forum to 3.4.5, I keep receiving emails from google telling me that "Google detected a significant increase in the number of URLs we could not access. It is likely that your server had an internal error or was busy when attempting to process these requests."
I checked in webmastertool, and found most the errors are the following links:
I just upgraded to 1.4.1 and post truncation function dose not work for me no mater what number I set. I tried to disable it (0), then put 100, 200 etc, just made no difference. Any idea? The title truncate function does not work either.
