Is there a way to make the Content RSS feeds update more frequently. It was great before I upgraded to the latest version.... but now it doesn't seem to upgrade until I go and refresh the categories cache. It may be updating every 24 hours or something - not sure. But it's not doing what it used to. And I need to to refresh the feeds every 15 minutes or so, maybe faster.

    How do I change that?

    Bump

So.... is this a bug or is it working as intended? Whatever the case, it needs to be addressed. I just need to know if to report it to the bug tracker or not.

    It's very strange.

@bfarber  It is installed to the root of my domain.... that's the issue here. It adds in domain.com/forums when you visit the forums, then domain.com/forums/forum when you are in a subform.

Thanks for the answer. That's unreal frustrating to me. Most everyone who uses IP.Pages at all is going to have that set as their default page. Surely there's a better solution than the custom URLs. I can't imagine forums/forum/ being good in search engines either.

I have IP.Pages installed with the forums. And I've got IP.Pages to load as the index. (everything is on the root of my domain)
When I click to go to the forums, my website address becomes domain.com/forums - then when I actually click into a forum - it goes to domain.com/index.php?/forums/forum/3-names
I hate that it has forums twice. And, on this site, forums isn't mentioned twice.....
Is this a bug that I need to report? Is this something I'm doing wrong? Or was this how it was made?

    Multi-Level Menu, 3-level
In Pages - When you try to add a page link underneath a page on the main menu, it refuses to let you select a parent. However, you can do a work around, which is to produce the page, and drag it to where you want it.
But, when you go through that process. The most top level links fail to work - they simply show dropdowns when you click them - instead of taking you to the page you have it linked to.

    Multi-Level Menu Error
Inside IP.Pages - The "Page" image doesn't show in the correct place in the admin panel when you use multi-level menus. See below...

Thanks - There was once a file you could download that would run all the requirements beforehand to make sure your server was good for 4.0. But if you go to that blogpost, the download link doesn't work anymore. That'd probably be the easiest thing to provide to my host.
EDIT: Just got an answer from my ticket. They've now fixed that link to the download file.

    Thanks for the help!
  13. jhutch added a post in a topic: Error on Beta 3 Install

I just downloaded the Beta 3 files, uploaded them into a test folder.
I was going to install, but I get this error when I visit the site:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function IPS\mb_internal_encoding() in /home/profootb/public_html/spotv2/init.php on line 104
Any idea what's going on here?

Ultimately, that's what I want - yes. But that's not what I'm asking for. I'm asking how to pull custom profile fields, or standard fields - and show different content blocks based on that.

Thanks! Exactly what I was looking for!

I'm not really needing custom coding. No one needs to come up with code specifically for my extra options. Just looking for some general codes to pull from default fields in the search box.

That way everyone can utilize what's given, and alter to fit their particular boards needs.
