Double posting

Hi IPS,
We've just become aware that there are two ways of making a post on a topic:
1. Reply to this topic at the top of the page: When you then click the "Add reply" button, the button remains in place until the message is posted, giving the opportunity to click it again and create a duplicate post, which some of our less patient forum users are doing.
2. Reply to this topic at the bottom of the page: The button in this case says "Post" (not "Add Reply") and it disappears from view as soon as it's been clicked thereby preventing a double posting. Whilst you wait there is a helpful saving post.... message, which you don't get when using the top posting method.
Cheers

Clicking it 100 times never submits any post, so I'm unclear on how this would be causing double posts. It is simply a link to another page (the one with the full posting form).
