Imported Calendar events have RSVP enabled

With Calendar 3.3.1, my Google Calendar events magically appeared - woohoo!
I'm using two of Google's public calendars for UK and US holidays, so now my Calendar displays them automatically forever which is great!
I noticed that the imported events have RSVP enabled though, which seems a bit OTT and confusing. Should RSVP be disabled by default for imported feeds or should their be an option when setting up the feed settings?
