mini calendar cache

We store the mini-calendar in a cache. In addition to the other problems with that, such as it showing the wrong date highlighted for some users as the time changes.. It also introduces a problem on multi-language systems.
Whatever language it is stored in cache as, is what all users will see.. So.. I'd assume, if someone with a german language viewed it first, and it cached with german months, it will show to all users with german months, regardless of their language choice.
