Starting a private chat breaks href links on the page

Using 1.4.1 Beta / Chrome 18 / IE9
After you start a private chat with someone, none of the links on the page will work when you click them. Links such as the navigation menu, VNC, the logo, etc.
To reproduce, join IP.Chat, start a private chat with someone, click any link on the page (Calendar for example)
