A: No caching Applied.
B: Make a Feed of Forums. if you opt to honor forum permissions, what it does instead is hide ALL Forum results, regardless of the fact you can see said forums.

B: I can't reproduce - it's pulling forums as expected (though the default template isn't optimal, but that's not really a bug)

Heres what its doing.... there is a bug here

1 is just stating its not a possible cause.
When Forum Permissions are being honored, Top-Level Forum Categories are removed, regardless the user can see them.

Is Allowed to* Compare a result set... you have permission to see the "categories" but they are not present in results at all in this mode.
