Strange thing checked the error logs both in the cache file and server error logs and there is no instance of these errors as how to fix on my end.

1) Can't reproduce

2) I can't reproduce, however topic generation methods were updated in 2.5.1 already - that's probably why. I did notice the page doesn't redirect properly (it redirects to itself but doesn't force a message, so you can get a browser error) which I've fixed.
Getting the same above issues on both my localhost test board and Demo board on another site...
Question
What did you have to do to fix this? Or are you talking the next version 2.5.1 where it was fixed?
If you want, or if it will help I can pm you the Demo board information... Too bad there is no room for it in the Clients Area.
BTW not sure if you went into my live board to make the fix you mentioned... If not for some reason it chose to start working...
Did find 1 error in one of the Cats fixed it and it also is working.
I believe this is the same issue as this: http://community.inv...9-driver-error/

You can either wait for 2.5.1 or run the query specified in that other bug report (that query will add an unused field in your table thought).

tried this 3 times last week on the test and demo boards. I guess in this case the 4th is the charm
On the live board was a server PHP directive error which should have also fixed on the demo... Not understanding the lag but the 4th time works.
