Styling updates

Noticed a few styling updates that are needed
1) The social homepage has the older image styling with no wrapper and badge overlays
2) The newer image styling does not retain the "new" badge, so there is no visible read/unread indicator. I propose a dot/faded dot (or lack of dot) approach similar to topics. Can put it all the way to the left on the same line as the comment count, but I'm open to suggestions Rikki.
