Changing passwords in client area breaks logging in on forums

The other day I changed my password.
Since I'm an administrator i'm forced to do it though the clients acp.
Now I can no longer login on the company forums. I need to login under /clients then come to the forums.
Unsure if this is specific to just people who have their password changed in the clients ACP or everyone who changes their password from the client area.

I doubt many people have these so it's probably a low priority. I can login via my app so it's just something to do with how this one submits the post data.
