Main: Statistics

You can view statistics about the Download Manager on your community from Admin CP --> My Apps --> Download Manager --> Statistics.

This page has several sections:

Statistics

This section shows a pie graph which can represent either the number of downloads or the amount of bandwidth used grouped by file, date or various criteria of the machine making the download (browser, operating system, location and IP address).

Use the dropdown menus at the top to select the criteria of the graph you want to generate, and then press the "Update" button to generate it.

Run Reports
This allows you to search for a specific member or file report. For more information about these, see below.

Member Repors

You can enter a member name into the "Run Reports" section to retrieve information about that member's usage of the Download Manager.
When you enter a name, if there are multiple matches, you will first need to select the member you want.

The report will show how much diskspace and bandwidth the member is using, a list of their submissions, a list of the files they have downloaded and a list of their favourites.
You can view a file report for any of the files in the list by clicking on the name.
The list of files they have downloaded will include the browser, operating system and location of the machine they used to make the download.

File Reports

You can enter a file name into the "Run Reports" section to retrieve information about that file.

The report will show all of the metadata held on the file, as well as a list of people who have downloaded it.
The list of people that have download the file will include the browser, operating system and location of the machine they used to make the download.

There is also a section which you can use to change the owner of the file.

  • Top 10 downloaded files
  • Top 10 viewed files
  • Top 10 members who have submitted the most files
