Performance mode can be enabled from Admin CP --> System --> Performance Mode.
Performance Mode allows you to easily disable many of the slightly more resource intensive features of your community that are not fully critical to your community's operation. You may wish to use Performance Mode during special events where your community experiences and abnormal increase in traffic so your server can manage that traffic to the best of its ability.
The system will remember your current settings so that you can easily reverse this change at a later time back to your original settings.
